My Text Edit constantly goes into “TextEdit not responding” when I open it without a document, or when I close a document. I always have to use the force quit to shut it down.
This started happening yesterday, and so far I’ve found no solution to fix it. Is there a site where I can download a new installation file for TextEdit? The version that comes with Monterey is 1.17. Or perhaps there is a configuration file somewhere in the system that is corrupted and needs to be deleted or rebuilt?
