I love the sound quality for music, i love the battery life. The things I don’t like •not being able to switch to another device on the fly. Example, when I had my Bose quiet comfort, i could push my power button up once to get to my iPHone, twice to get to my mac, then a third time to come back to my primary. •No deadicated mute button. Sometimes I am on facetime calls, or zoom calls, and I am not near device, you want to be able to mute on the fly instead of running back to device to do so. •Microphone sound quality. Now i may be a little touchy here, but recording podcasts, and dealing with studio sound may factor in here. It sounds hollow or with a slight echo when played back, and of course there is a slight lag. Surprisingly where i get the best sound quality from the 9 microphones it claims to use, is in zoom on the mac. ON the phone its a bit better, but not by much. You would think with a price tag this high, they could do a bit better. I don’t even use them as much as I thought i would based on the sound quality of the microphone. Some say turn off ANC, or transparenancy mode, to get better microphone quality. Why would i want to do that when those are features I bought them for? Have thought of selling them, but they were a gift. So I will hold onto them for now. But i use my airpod 3rd generations 4 times as much as I use the airpod max.
