Well, Dropbox and One Drive and probably Google Drive all had to make changes to support MacOS 12.3. These changes have something to do with how these applications sync to the cloud and Apple allowing them to have some of the functionality that iCloud has.
At least that was the understanding I had from a couple podcasts.
