Excellent clarification Tim. I use to have a 2013 13" MacBook Air, and the MagSafe connector on that model Air was much smaller than on the same eras 13” or 15” MacBook Pros. So, that prevents a 45 watt charger from a MacBook Air from being used on either model MacBook Pro.
