Hi, I haven’t used that feature on my Apple TV, but do agree with the pain in the *** when trying to activate things like Prime video. Normally, when scanning a QR code, all you need to do is to open the Camera app on your iPhone, then point it at the TV>. When the camera detects the QR code, it will say so, then give you the opportunity to open the related site. What happens after that will depend on how that vender set up their authentication and activation site.
