As far as “pointing “at the terminal reader, it’s more actually just bringing it next to the reader. I’ve always just put my hand on the reader itself then bring the phone over to my other hand to ensure that I’m bringing it near the reader. That’s not a problem and it doesn’t in fear with anything. I always double click the side button then I bring the phone next to the reader. Works fine.
