Thanks for sharing that Jason.
There is a person on the Lynx developers list who uses the homebrew editions for accessibility testing, at least they did for the Toronto public library.
Personally wish those at the w3c did the same.

Subject: lynx on the mac.
Hi folks,
because I was asked about lynx, I wanted to insure what I provided was
current and did not add extra complication.
I am sharing data below for the macports project as it was provided.
My very swift look find a package even for Monterrey, and an easy install
process as well.
Lynx is provided, not quite the most current, but certainly capable for
the task which began this thread.
Hope this is helpful,
Karen

It is 2.8.9. It must be used in terminal, a flavor of unix with its standard
utility and apps.; plus many unique to the mac os.

I suggest getting the open source macports which allows many many linux/unix
based apps. and utilitiess and much more to be ported to
terminal, linux among them as well as alpine and others you know.

I put the macports apps. folder first in my path, there all ports are stored.
In that way there is no reason to put linux or any other port elsewhere.
