Lorie, Yes the SE 2022 does have a home button. When they first came out in May, I jumped on getting one, and discovered Apple had a trade-in program going for my SE 2020 that took quite a few bucks off the final price. The program ran out out on May 31. I’m glad I made the move. Performance is much better, and battery life seems to be OK for me as well. From what I read, it doesn’t have LIDAR, but that didn’t concern me. If what they’re saying about the home button going completely away starting next year, I’d say get the 2022 SE now as it probably will get you maybe five or more years? Pete De Vasto
