Hi Laurie, a friend of mine had a MacBook Air from 2014. He tried to go to Monterey, but, his machine crashed. He ended up going back to Big Sur. My 2015 MacBook Air will run Monterey with a few problems. I get messages that the mail program is not responding, and, safari keeps coming up with having no windows. I was in that Monterey seems to be able to work on the machine that I have right now.
