Hello,

There is not a bug on Watch OS 9.x, that I can reproduce.

Immediately after reading this thread, I checked the date on my watch and it is 
absolutely correct.  I called a local friend of mine and had her check her 
watch, with VoiceOver enabled, and she, too, heard both the correct time and 
date on her Apple Watch running the latest commercial release of the OS.

Both she and I are using the modular watch face.

So, I suggest that anyone experiencing a date problem, to try using a different 
watch face.

I have not tried the date on my watch, but I have seen someone post a similar 
issue to yours in another group so this sounds like a major bug.
