Hi! I guess the app has a kind of scanner function to let you scan this thing? It sometimes does not work for me either but for me it was a device with a heat pump. What you could try is to open the control center and find the code scanner or qr scanner feature that’s built-in to the iPhone. TO encourage you, this is a big issue for me to. Its quite secure but not fun to work with as you have found out. /A
