It all really depends on what you use the machine for. If you’re doing heavy audio and video processing then yeah, load up on the ram and the SSD. Me, I could get by on the bare-bones configuration because I only do email, Spreadsheet, and a little Text and sometimes and sometimes audio processing. considering how much extra ram and SSD space will cost, the price can go up pretty fast and if you don’t need that capacity, you’re really just throwing The money out. Some say heavier capacity is best for resale value, but you’re probably gonna hang onto this machine for quite a while and resale may or may not be a consideration.
