Hi Joseph and all,

I am using two old Sonos Play Ones, which I subbed in for two SonosOnes whose
power supplies completely fried. After that experience, we were loathe to buy
any more Sonos products, even though initially Sonos had been our sound system
of choice. Unfortunately, time didn’t permit us to get to the Apple store
yesterday, but after reading this thread, I will compare the sound on the New
HomePod with the sound on the current Sonos speakers. One thing I do look
forward to with the new HomePods is good Siri integration. I do use my first
gen HomePod to send messages and such, and it’s very handy. We have a Sonos
Rome that we take out on the deck, and I found the Sonos Voice assistant to be
very lacking, though I haven’t tried it since last summer.
Cheers,
Donna
