This was happening regardless of which mailbox I had selected. I had to do some playing around with mailbox behaviors, something I’ve never attempted to do anything with, and eventually found that my option to have my deleted messages moved to option somehow ended up being switched to “none.” So after switching it back to “gmail/trash,” everything is now working again. I’m just really baffled as to how this happened, since I don’t play with those settings, any more than I would on my Amazon fire tv, but now one of ours is deciding even after I turn Voiceview off, to turn it back on all by itself, and sometimes will do this repeatedly, so I’ve stopped trying to figure out why this is.
