Sadly, no this is one of my biggest frustrations with the AirPods and the
ecosystem. It appears that they don’t view voiceover as an audio source or
anything of importance. I say this because I can be using my Apple Watch and if
I’m playing real media, then it never switches to my iPhone when using the
AirPods. As soon as I stop playing media though, and I’m just swiping through,
let’s say the home screen, the Apple Watch will often drop off the AirPods and
voice will come out the watches speaker.I hate saying things like this, but
it’s very clear that the testers do not use voiceover permanently or for the
ones that do they may not be being listen to. It’s very frustrating as I would
like to use the watch more in bed, but cannot because of this inconsistency. I
don’t want to annoy my wife.
