hi all for those using OCR like finereader, you don't need vuscan. Just use image capture in applications and send the resulting file to the OCR program then after a scan it will autoopen the file and you can convert to text from there. It works great with my canon so install scangear if you have this type of scanner for example but the rest is seamless.
