Yes, it is a known bug and has been reported to Microsoft.
Nothing has been done about it, so I'm wondering if they even care.
OneDrive runs just fine on my Mac running Ventura. It has received several 
updates in the past few weeks. My machine running Sonoma has not received these 
updates. 
I have gone to the App Store, and tried manually re-downloading OneDrive, but 
the issue still remains on the Sonoma machine. I have also tried uninstalling 
and reinstalling OneDrive on the Sonoma machine. Still no change and the 
problem persist.
Since OneDrive is not mission critical on the Sonoma machine, I have said it to 
not start at login, and just not using OneDrive on that machine.
Hopefully this issue will be resolved in the not too distant future.
