hey Rob,

replying to you off list because I'm curious, you said you're going to get a
masters in AT...from where? I'm still working on my undergrad, slogging away at
it lol but I plan to get a masters in AT when I'm finished. the program at cal
state northridge looks really great. I think I'll probably apply there seeing
I'd love to live in California as well, but I'd be curious about other options
too.

As for your question about buying a mac and a windows machine, the only reason
I can think to do that is so you'd get the full windows keyboard experience. I
don't have windows installed on my mac and I believe it's possible to use jaws
and windows keyboard commands under windows on a virtual machine, but I think
it's still different than using them on a windows laptop or desktop where
capslock really is the jaws key and there's a windows key and everything.
Although you might be able to hook up a windows keyboard to your mac and use
it? I'm not sure.

I know this has been a longwinded ramble that probably didn't need to be, lol.
I kind of see why they'd say it's best to have one of each and I kind of don't.
Personally I'm a mac girl and have been one for going on two years now, but I
know I'll have to refamiliarize myself with the latest in windows before I go
for my masters in AT.
