When it comes to Tabs verses Windows, whichever is easier to use is subjective. I find it no more effort to switch between Window Tabs using CTRL + the Tab key, than it is to use CMD + the Accent key, to switch between Windows within the same application. What it really comes down to, is how you wish to organize your work, and which method works best for you, which is a personal choice.

For one, they open within the same wind so you don’t have an extra Desktop window. It’s also easier to press Control Tab Vs Command Accent. Also, a window can contain multiple tabs. > On Apr 10, 2025, at 08:34, 'Kristeen Hughes' via MacVisionaries > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Can someone tell me the difference in opening a folder in a new tab and a > window? > > Thanks. > > Kristeen Hughes > [email protected] > > > > > -- > The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries > list. > > If you have any questions or concerns about the running of this list, or if > you feel that a member's post is inappropriate, please contact the owners or > moderators directly rather than posting on the list itself. > > Your Mac Visionaries list moderator is Mark Taylor.
