There are also several multiple line Braille displays now on the market. As far 
as I know, the only one for which Apple has advertised support so far is the 
Dot Pad, and I know very little more about it.

Hi,
Unless you are desperate for a new braille display, I would suggest waiting 
until until after the summer conventions. I have heard a couple rumors of new 
displays being worked on by a couple of manufacturers.

I certainly hope so, since I would love to have the features of a Braille and 
Speak or what ever they call it with a display for output.
I prefer using tools based on UNIX  when possible.
