That was a curiosity of mine when I first got my Apple Watch SE a couple years ago for Christmas, and found out the Alex voice was available to be installed, but when I installed it and tried to switch to it, nothing happened. So I just figured rather than switch to another voice entirely, which would probably take more processing power to run and kill my watch battery faster, I’ve just learned to live with Samantha, since it’s only on that one device, and I don’t have her reading anything extensively enough to be bothered by the fact that the Samantha voice has become robotic as ever to me.
