According to numerous reports, and some of my own observations in various places:
If you are not simultaneously talking in another voice app, you are running TeamTalk, you are using your phone speaker, you are not using a headset, and you have voice preprocessing enabled: 1. Your voice, to other TeamTalk participants, is very low in volume. 2. The sound of what everyone else in the TeamTalk channel says echoes back to the channel at a high gain. 3. This is the opposite of what happened before iOS 26 and of course opposite to what preprocessing is meant to do. On Tue, Oct 14, 2025 at 01:42:08PM -0500, Herbie Allen wrote: Interesting. I never have that on for Teamtalk, so didn’t know about the issue. It definitely works normally. > On Oct 14, 2025, at 13:28, Doug Lee <[email protected]> wrote: > > The only iOS 26 problem I know of is a voice preprocessing problem that > affects TeamTalk users, not sure if it affects any other apps.
