Hello,
I am running IOS 26.1 on my iPhone 15 Pro with VoiceOver set on.
Using the on screen keyboard to enter my 6 digit passcode I slide my finger to
the correct digit and lift it to enter that digit. I like to hear a sound as I
lift my finger to show that I have entered the correct digit. In Settings,
General, Keyboard I have Sound set On so I ought to hear the sound as above.
Alas this does not always work. I suspect that the problem may relate to audio
ducking and the ducking amount which I sometimes change. These changes seem to
require me to reboot my iPhone to have any effect.
So how can I setup to have a reliable sound to confirm that I have selected the
correct character when using the on screen keyboard?
Incidentally what does ducking amount mean? If I set ducking amount to say 90%
does that mean that the ducked sound is only slightly quieter that the VO sound
or do I have to set ducking amount to say 10% to achieve that?
Many thanks for your help..
Best regards … Paul Hopewell
