For those who want to use a single machine and who don't mind working
with multiple operating systems, note that virtualization allows you to
run Linux or Windows on a Mac. So you could have all three operating
systems on the same machine if you wanted to do so.
Mac virtualization tools have been much discussed on the applevis.com
Web site, which would be a good starting point for anyone exploring that
option.
