hi,
Do any of you somehow play old windows games, like those for windows xp on
your modern macs which cannot run bootcamp? if so, how? I like to play 20
or so year old audio games, and I like to play with different tts engines
in windows. And since Jaws seems to be going downhill, I am considering
getting that new cheaper macbook when it comes out next year if the price
is good for me. If not, then maybe a mac mini. and if it is the mac mini, I
hope I can use it without a monitor or screen hooked up, the modern mac
minis that is. because I just need voiceover and a keyboard, not a screen
and a mouse too. thanks for any info you can give on this matter. I heard
windows11 arm works good on modern macs, but I'm not sure how well it would
run the old windows software? and I would also max out the ram in my mac
because I heard they can run local offline AI large language models quite
good. Is that true? I use koboldcpp to run local AI models on my windows
machine at the moment. It is quite slow without a dedicated GPU.
