Hi Steve,

Leaving politics aside, that’s not the issue.  I did finally get it sorted out, 
and the game just isn’t designed as accessibly as it should be.  However, it is 
playable.

P.S. In case anyone else got stymied by this, the trick is that after you have 
entered the word, you have to tap the last letter again for it to submit.
