Hi, If the Mac and iPhone have the same apple user id, there should be no need to do anything as long as they both use iCloud keychain. If I open my iPhone in a friends house and they are actively using their iPhone, then as soon as I select their network, they get a prompt asking if they want to share the WiFi credentials with me.
