Hello Rebecca, I use an app called Fantastical for most of my calendar needs. There is a subscription model, but there is also a free version that works very well. It works on all Apple devices. I like it because I can type in full sentences to create my appointment or reminder and the app fills out all of the form fields for me. So I can say something like: “Bake cookies at Becky’s house on February 1 2026 at 10 AM.” Or I can type: “Remind me to turn in my math assignment on Monday.”
It then does most of the work for me when I select the “Add” button. Hope this helps a little bit.
