To answer your first question, if you're using Gmail, your deleted mail may actually be going to the All Mail folder rather than the trash. You might want to look for it there.As for your second question, go to the menu bar > Apple menu, and look in about this Mac. There you will find what kind of processor your Mac has.

Navigate to the mail folders list table, select the folder and open the shortcut menu. You should find delete folder in that menu.

Brad, sorry, I forgot to mention is the favorite list on mail app. I saved some mail folders in it, I can access those by pressing command plus any number, now I need to access the favorite list to delete the one that I no longer need. Nene
What Favorites list? Do you mean in Safari? You will find this by going to the Menu Bar > Bookmarks.
