In this day and age, this is a very common problem. I live in a large apartment building, with 500 apartments one on top of an other. My router is frequently flooded with requests to join my network from devices I cannot identify and which clearly belong to others. Sometimes, when I am in a taxi or other vehicle, somebody’s phone, or earpiece, or headset, or camera wants to connect to my phone. I just ignore it. I move out of range, and the connect requests go away. It is nothing to worry about. Bottom line: you did the right thing by not entering the requested code. If you did, it wouldn’t be a crime. Just an annoyance. On May 4, 2026, at 9:17 PM, Estelita Clayton <[email protected]> wrote: -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
