Hello Everyone,

Since installing Google Gemini on my iPhone, in addition to enjoying
real-time voice interaction, via Gemini’s “Live Mode”, I recently
discovered that Gemini is amazing when it comes to discussing and or
describing anything at which my phone camera is pointing.

For example, the other day, I wanted to know how much time was left on my
microwave cooking timer and I asked Gemini and it instantly told me that
there were 3 minutes and fifteen seconds remaining.

When I receive hardcopy mail, including flyers, I can ask Gemini to either
read the document or describe the document, such as a huge political flyer
that is mostly photos.

Another example: Since there is quite a bit of distance from my front door
to where I place my trash cans to be emptied by the trash service, I asked
Gemini if the cans have been emptied. Its response is something like,
“given that the lids to both containers are open, I suggest that they have
been emptied.”

I could go on and on but I’m hoping that you will give Gemini a try and let
us know what you think.

The following steps should get you started:

1.
Install Gemini on your iOS device.

2.
Configure the Gemini Talk Live widget on your Today screen.

3.
Launch Gemini, talk live mode, via the Today Screen widget.

4.
Converse with Gemini.

5.
If you want Gemini to describe something for you in real-time, activate the
video streaming button located near the bottom left corner of the display
to toggle it on.

6.
Point your phone at something and then ask Gemini a question about it and
be prepared to be dazzled.

Oh! One more thing: Gemini is wonderful at reading preparation
instructions for food that may be frozen or in cans, etc.

I hope you will give it a try.

Mark
