Hi, thanks I finally got the Mac version of Audacity to work correctly. The stumbling block was getting it to export files in .MP3 format. After installing the .MP3 encoder and restarting the Mac I was finally able to get it to work. Editing is fairly straightforward in Audacity. Thanks for the suggestions. Frank
