Also, the position information that you hear when you use the popup menu is the position of the dock. It can be on the bottom of the screen, which is the default position. It can be on the left or right, as well, Yes, when you have the dock focussed with VO-D you can use the left and right arrow keys to navigate it it. This is a standard Mac shortcut. The separator will be ignored when you navigate with the arrow keys by themselves.
