Sarah, I get the impression some of these are perhaps news feeds? If so, they do not seem to necessarily appear in alphabetical order. I have several news feeds that are not in any order and I have not bothered to try and arrange them. I find if I want to jump to a specific mail folder, I can always type the first few characters of the name and most times I'll be exactly where I want to be and is a little faster then scrolling through a long list of folders.
