Hi everyone,

I apologize for my earlier E-mail inquiry about Handbreak. I thought I'd
include instructions on VLC and Handbreak since it took me nearly 3 hours to
solve this problem. My OS is OSX 10.6 running the latest software updates in
Snow Leopard. For some reason my version of Handbreak which is a 32-bit will
only work with the Intel version of VLC. Instructions follow, so you don't
encounter the same error of Handbreak not finding VLC that I did.
1. Download 32 bit version of Handbreak.
2. Install Handbreak and add it to your apps folder. *This is important later.
3. Download VLC Intel 1.0.5 from the VLC site.
4. Install VLC and place only the VLC application file in your apps folder.

Now, you can run Handbreak successfully without coming up with the error
"Please install VLC". Or "Your VLC Version is out of date." I hope this helps
anyone who is having trouble.

Allison
