I am planning on running a Windows 7 virtual machine along side Mac OS X and I have several questions. How much hard drive space does a typical snapshot of fusion take up? Is there a difference between a fusion snapshot and a virtual machine file? I am planning to buy a cheap 32 GB SSD drive to increase the performance when running both fusion and mac os x. I heard in the past that some times you had to wait like a minute or so so taht the drive could finish doing its seeking functions as both windows and mac os x tend to write on the hard drive , and if both are trying to access the drive at the same time, one has to wait, and it usually ends up being windows since its just a virtual machine. Those 32GB hard drives run me about 110 dollars, then add in a time capsules for offline storage and backup of my music and video files and I think I can manage with 32 GB for some time. I currently use a Vista computer with 250GB of hard drive space, but my core files, only take about 20 GB, and this includes the OS, I just use the computer to surf the internet and do homework for school. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Alfredo
PS I have a licensed, unopened, ViewPlus AudioGraphing Calculator software program. This is great if you love math or are going to school, or planning to go back to college and take math classes. Through audio feedback it will describe all kinds of graphs and you can use it to print graphs onto your braille printer. I have this for 250, it cost 300 if you buy it fromt he manufacturer, plus tax.
