The application is very accessible as all the functions are mapped to keys. The layout in terms of keys is as such that left and right of the vertical line that makes the keys y h and b are left and right turntables. All the number keys represent main controls like play rewind beat match skip effects, etc. Then the alpha keys are for loop taking, cue points and equalizers As well as cut etc. I do recommend though a midi controller such as the dj spin that goes with the software, or if you can shell out some more the VCI 100 from vestac. The above are totally compatible with dj and are mapped straight out. But they can also be used for controlling logic and gb if you get adventurous.
