Yeah you can, but I find that vo  screws up the keyboard of the VM machine
which means I either 
Have to use a usb key board or  as you said turn vo off which gives me full
keyboard functionality

Hi all,

I want to know if I am able to have vmware fusion and voiceover running at
the same time without having to shut voiceover off jsut to get the keyboard
tow rok. zi'm trying to install open solaris and part of the accessible
install instructions says to arrow down 6 times and then press enter, but I
don't see the highlighter in the menuy. all it does is go into an endless
loop to coming back to that menu. any help is appreciated
