Hi Aman and GF,
To bring up a list of VoiceOver's web navigation shortcuts try either
bringing up the VoiceOver menu (VO+F7, where "VO" stands for holding
down the VoiceOver keys of Control and Option), and then navigate down
to the "Search" option with your arrow keys or by pressing "s". Right
arrow to read through the menu of commands. You can also bring up
that menu directly with the shortcut VO+Shift+F, without going through
the VoiceOver menu. To use GF's example, VO+Command+H will move you
to the next header, VO+Command+M lets you navigate to the next header
at the same level, etc. Pressing a shift key in addition to these
combinations will let you navigate to the previous header.
In addition to the Quick Start Guide, there is a VoiceOver Getting
Started (Snow Leopard) Guide that is available in HTML format . Press
VO+H to go to the VoiceOver Help menu, then Up Arrow. This is also
available on the web for general users at:
http://www.apple.com/voiceover/info/guide/
and you can also get this guide in Daisy format, or in Braille. I'll
paste in an excerpt from Greg Kearney's post:

VoiceOver Getting Started (Snow Leopard) is DAISY format has been
produced by the Association for the Blind of Western Australia and can
be downloaded from the following URL: http://www.cucat.org/tmp/vogs_sl.zip
This is a full text full audio DAISY version 2.02 digital talking
book with navigation at the chapter and subsection level and page
numbers supported.

The information on the various VoiceOver Getting Started Guide
versions is summarized on the Apple Web Page for VoiceOver downloads:
http://www.apple.com/accessibility/voiceover/downloads.html
That page also gives a link for ordering an embossed Braille copy of
the guide from San Francisco's Lighthouse for the Blind.
HTH. Cheers,
Esther

VO + command and h will move you to headers. I think l moves to
links and you can try others to see what they do. Turn on your
keyboard help and play around with some of the VO + command + letter
keys and see what you come up with. I am sure there are ones for all
the things you want to do. if not, there is also the quick nav mode.
press left and right at the same time and then you will be there. up
+ left or up + right will turn the rotor to what you want to jump
to. Then up and down will move you to the different attributes. Hope
that helps a bit.

Hi, all.
I am slowly getting to grips with the Mac Mini I have here and am
finding it an interesting experience at least. If I may ask, is
there any
way to, as one can in the Windows screen readers, move to the next
specified
HTML attribute? That is, if I want to move to the next check box, for
example, in Jaws, I press x. X will move me backward to the
previous box.
The closest thing I have found to this in Safari is that I can get
the web
roter up and move around it, but this is unsatisfactory because it
requires
more keystrokes, and one can't, so far as I see, select a specific
form
field, that is, I can select to move up and down through all form
fields but
not through checkboxes or edit fields exclusively, for example. I
have tried
using the keys on the keyboard, and have also tried the keyboard
help, but
cannot find a method of moving around more quickly.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received, and I would be
overjoyed to
find a guide specifically to the web other than the quick start
guide.
Thanks.
Aman
