Mathew,

I've used the magic jack with the mac.  It's a little buggy, but accessible.  
It requires you to interact with frames, IE the page will say frame one, 
unknown, but if you interact with that frame, it works, reading out everything 
that's in it.  Once your past the enitial setup of it, and you replug in the 
magic jack, say if you're traveling etc, it just takes a couple of secs to pop 
yp on your screen and begin to run.  Hope this helps.
