Hi chris. When in VM Fusion are you in full screen? If so change it by doing control command and enter (hope that's right as I'm not sitting in front of my mac). Then you should have a list of USB devices which you can connect or disconnect. If you find what drive you need then press enter on it and it should connect in windows.
