Hi. I had trouble with tivo decode manager as well.  My guess is that it 
doesn't work with Snow Leopard.  What I ended up doing was uuse the web 
interface to download the shows I wanted, then I used the tivo decoder command 
line tool to remove the drm.  Tivo decode manager is actually a graphical front 
end for this tool.  You can find the command line tool by viewing package 
contents for Tivo Decode Manager.
It's been a while since I've done this, so I can't give you specific 
instructions on how to use tivo decoder, but I believe it does bring up a help 
screen when you run it.
