VO-D is the dock. This is the same thing that messed me up. VO-D = Dock,
Command-Shift D = Desktop. Command-Shift-O (as I now know, opens documents.

Well, I can use two keystrokes total: VO-D to go to the desktop, then
command-shift-o to go into documents. (Desktop is already a Finder window.)
