Hi, I'm starting to use audacity for simple things. There are details of the program that irritate me. Like for example I can't get a file slit for CD using label tracks, even though I have a good tutorial on it. One of the steps fails and it's a show stopper. I also had to do a lot of tweaking to get the audio recording settings I want.
On the other hand, the tool bars are very useable. There are all kinds of keyboard shortcuts. It's very stable on my 2.4 ghz mbp. And if I can make it work, that will be one less thing I have to open my poor beleaguered virtual machine for. Give it a try.
