Hi Jeff,
Yes, you can use that wireless keyboard with a mini, and yes, you need a
monitor with the mini, and I don't know if usb displays work or not. The other
thing you get with the notebook that you don't get with the mini is the touch
pad. Since your keyboard lacks a numeric keypad, you won't be able to use num
pad commander with your mini And Unless you buy the magic trackpad, you won't
have a touch pad either for using track pad commander. which leaves you with
just keyboard commander. there are a lot of multi-finger voice over commands
that can be made a whole lot simpler with the use of these commanders, so if
you go for the mini, you may want to look around for an older Apple wireless or
even usb keyboard and/or purchase the magic trackpad. When I got my mini, Apple
offered an upgrade, so you could get 4 gb of memory, which I did, because I
thought I was going to run Windows and fusion or bootcamp at the time I bought
the mini. Unless you need portability or have limited desktop real estate that
would make a notebook more attractive than mini plus keyboard plus monitor and
possible magic trackpad, I'd get the Mini.
