What about a kvm switch with audio. So you have all sound coming through one set of speakers, but only when you change to the machine you want do you hear the voice of that machine.
I did this with a windows system I had setup. 6 machines coming through a kvm with audio. On ekeyboard, mouse, monitor and one set of speakers. Made life pretty easy. I am nto aware of any way to do this unless you had a standard KVM that would allow you to use a bluetooth adapter that would connect via the USB port on the KVM. I am not sure if this would even work, but the thought has crossed my mind as well. I'd love for a way to do this, and even cross-platform if possible. I know, its nothing much in terms of real knowledge but its probably a good thing to have when confronted with various situations. So what i'd like to do is being able to switch from macbook to mac mini with a keyboard shorcut. I wanted to also pair a set of bluetooth headphones so i can just whip up the keyboard switch stuff on and i'm computerizing around. Anyone tried this setup before? As i am installing a sl server at the office, i won't even need to move to the other room unless bluetooth is bad with walls? I know there is a better solution through vpn perhaps from my own unit, but if this is possible then via iphone would be even better since i might be administering the server from another country Any help greatly appreciated Best regards, Yuma DXR "Light has no value without darkness" Description: Image removed by sender. zato1.jpg blog: http://www.theblindsamurai.com <http://www.theblindsamurai.com/> twitter: http://www.twitter.com/triple7 Tel: +64 210 22 77 190 Phnom Penh: +85589900095 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
