Hi Carlene,
I had a similar problem with Safari. I was able to solve it by going
to the safari menu and selecting reset. That stopped it from restarting voice
Over repeatedly and it worked much better. I don't know if that will help but
it might be a mostly painless way to try to solve your problem.
