Well, I'm mighty impressed with that site and everything I've tried from it, but I've added a load of free apps I found on iTunes for music and radio as well, and they *all* just work. I know there will be plenty that don't, but in general, I've never seen so much accessibility in mainstream software, anywhere, ever, so I'd say just try things!
