Hi List:

Well I just cant' get connected to my vurtual Windows XP PRO Machine
running on my Mac OS-10.6X.
The thing is, I got everything setup correctly but my vm machine isn't
showing up in my list of devices in my wireless router, which both are
connected.
Netbook is there and my Mac's computer name but not my vurtual
machine, yet it has been assigned an Ip, so 3 IPs are alacated.
On the VM side, I don't see a wireless connection, just a connection
that says:
Local area connection, VmWare Fusion AMDPC Net adapter, firewalled.
I'm starting to wonder if this is in fact a down fall of
vurtualization. Afterall, Mac still has control of the hardware and
this is why my router, which is ISP provided, won't recognize my vm
because it doesn't have actual control.
Essentially, as far as my router is concerned, my vurtual machine
doesn't exist.
I'm at a loss, I know when I dropped an actual XP PRO box on my lan
last year, for testing purposes, it worked.
Hope someone can help me through this.

thanks:

Michael
