Someone can correct me, of course, but I don't think there's an exact analog on 
the Mac for what you want to do.The nearest I can come to it is not to use 
command-tab, but to use the dock instead. When you go tto the dock with VO-d, 
you can then press the first letter of an application or keep typing its name, 
and it will be highlighted. That way, you don't have to command-tab past 
everything in the universe. :)
